Claudia Cavallin is a journalist, writer, and professor in the Department of Languages and Literatures at Oklahoma State University. She is a regular contributor to the newspaper El Nacional (Papel Literario) and the magazines Carátula, Latin American Literature Today, World Literature Today, and Trópico Absoluto. Her work has also appeared in Cuadernos Fronterizos and Efecto Cocuyo. She served as director of the academic journal Estudios: Revista de Investigaciones Literarias y Culturales (Venezuela). She continues her investigation of literature and migration, which define the production and dissemination of contemporary translations of Latin American literature.
